• Annual revenue range and business context (via forms and call booking)

• Website usage data via cookies and analytics (pages visited, time on site, referral source)
• LinkedIn Insight Tag data for ad measurement and retargeting (see "Advertising" below)
• Device and browser information
• IP address

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Generate your Exit Intelligence, Acquisition Strategy, or Pipeline Intelligence reports
• Schedule and prepare for strategy calls
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-up communications
• Provide advisory services if you become a client
• Send webinar invitations and event communications you've registered for

• Measure advertising performance and deliver relevant ads via LinkedIn

Legal basis for processing

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag on our website. This allows us to:

• Measure the effectiveness of our LinkedIn advertising campaigns

You can opt out of LinkedIn's advertising cookies via your LinkedIn ad preferences. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook tracking pixels.

Who we share data with

We share your data only with:

• Service providers - Supabase (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), Cal.com (scheduling), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments), LinkedIn (advertising)
• Professional advisors - only with your explicit consent, in connection with advisory engagements

We never sell your personal data. We never share your information with competitors, buyers, or any third party without your explicit consent.

Confidentiality

We take confidentiality extremely seriously. If you are exploring a potential exit or business sale, we will never:

• Contact your clients, staff, or competitors
• Disclose that you are considering a sale
• Share your business data with potential buyers without your written consent

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Report data is retained for 24 months. Client advisory data is retained for 7 years after engagement ends (regulatory requirement). You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Data portability

Data security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database storage, and access controls. Our infrastructure is hosted on Vercel and Supabase, both of which maintain SOC 2 compliance.
