What is Open Equity?
A value creation and M&A platform for founder-owned B2B businesses with £5M–£100M in revenue. We work alongside founders for 12–18 months to rebuild what determines exit value, then run the M&A process that turns that value into a deal.
How does it work?
We start with a Strategic Deep Dive of your business and the levers that will make it more valuable to target buyers. From there, we build a 12–18 month roadmap and deploy the system alongside you: strategy, demand, infrastructure, and M&A. When you're ready to exit, we execute the deal end-to-end.
How are commercials structured?
Three layers. The Strategic Deep Dive is £12,500 — a fixed fee for the diagnostic and roadmap. Ongoing engagements are retainer-based and scale with scope. M&A execution is success-fee based at completion. For a small number of businesses each year, we take equity in place of fees.
